Ubisoft Toronto Inc. is a Canadian a subsidiary of Ubisoft based in Canada; it was founded 2009. The studio started with developing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, in cooperation with Ubisoft Montreal, in 2011. In 2015 they developed Starlink: Battle for Atlas, an action-adventure game with optional toys-to-life integration. Other famous games developed by Ubisoft Toronto are Assasin's Creed Unity, For Honor, Watch_Dogs 2, and some of the Far Cry series. This is the first original IP developed by the studio. It also holds the Ubisoft Toronto NXT Showcase, an annual competition of video game developers, and the Ubisoft Indie Series, an annual tournament for independent game development studios. Both of them offer cash prizes, mentorship, and financial tools to advance and grow.
