KISS Ltd is an English-based independent video game publisher.
History
The company was founded in 2012 by Peter King and Darryl Still in an effort to assist small aspiring developers in bringing their PC titles to the public through digital distribution services.
Most of the company's staff comes from Atari, Sega, and Eidos. King and Still themselves launched the company because they had grown tired of the big companies that did not want to pick up promising projects from small development teams.
Operations
KISS does not own any intellectual property. Instead, it focuses on its publishing efforts. There are two criteria for the developers and their projects to be picked up by KISS. That is the size of the development team, which has to be relatively small and the platform of choice by the developers has to be PC.
Most of the titles published by KISS are RPG Maker games from 2-4 person development teams. Games like Space Farmers and Super Hornet Ressurection are the most renown titles published by the company.
