DONTNOD Entertainment is a French video game developer based in Paris best known for story-driven adventure games. The studio’s debut project is 2013 action-adventure Remember Me published by Capcom. The game incorporates elements of platforming, beat em’ up, and exploration. Its plot revolves around the theme of memories and manipulating them. The games gained mixed reviews and had average sales. The next Dontnod project was Life is Strange – an episodic adventure game with strong emphasis on story and characters. All six episodes of the game were released in 2015. The game became a massive success for the studio selling more than three million copies worldwide saving the company financially after the lukewarm reception of Remember Me. It gained the cult following and spawned a prequel – Life is Strange: Before the Storm and a sequel in 2018.
