Deep Silver is a German-based video game publisher.
History
Deep Silver was established in 2002 as a division of Koch Media. Before its acquirement by THQ Nordic in 2018, Deep Silver helped publish numerous titles, such as Dead Island for the public. After the acquirement, Deep Silver took over the franchises that were previously owned by THQ, such as Metro: Last Light and its Redux editions. Over 200 video game titles were released by Deep Silver since its foundation.
Operations
Deep Silver focuses on a wide range of genres and titles. Most of its publishing efforts revolved around preparing previously owned THQ franchises for their release. The most notable video games published by Deep Silver include S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, Risen, Metro 2033, Saints Row IV and its expansions, and Dead Island.
The company often cooperates with its several subsidiaries like Dambuster Studios (Homefront: The Revolution), Fishlabs (Galaxy on Fire), and Volition (Red Faction, Saints Row).
